Glacier National Park is a must visit park in Montana providing epic views of glaciers and stunning landscapes. When I visited last, I entered the park through West Glacier and stayed in Kalispell, Montana. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell. If you are traveling to this National Park, I would recommend checking out this hotel for your visit.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Where to stay on your visit to Glacier National Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Glacier National Park’s West Glacier Entrance is just 42 minutes from Kalispell. This makes Kalispell a good option for your stay since there are limited lodging options closer to the park entrance. When I visited last, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell<\/a> and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel has a nice indoor pool and hot tub as well as a fitness center and casino. It also has breakfast options available to help you fuel up for your hikes in Glacier National Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this hotel, it also takes just 11 minutes to reach Flathead Lake if you are wanting to recreate in the clear waters of this lake. When I visited, I flew into Kalispell and stayed for a few nights here. Then I took a rental car to Banff National Park. Banff is just a 5.5-hour drive from Kalispell, so this area also makes a good launching point for a road trip into Canada to visit Banff National Park. When I returned from Banff, I stayed here one more night before flying from Kalispell back to Colorado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell. Soaking in the hot tub after hiking in Glacier all day was a great way to unwind. The hotel is also across the street from a good pizza place and is a short trip to downtown Kalispell where there are nicer restaurants and some microbreweries. Since I did not envision starting a travel blog at the time, I did not get any photos of the hotel or my room.
