Where to stay on your trip to Canmore, Canada

If you plan to visit Banff National Park, Canmore provides you quick access to the park at a lower price point than staying within the boundaries of the park. For my visit to Banff, I stayed at the Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Center. This hotel was really nice and had a bunch of great amenities including a steakhouse restaurant, an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, and a fitness center.

The hotel is also within easy walking distance to breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, a recreation center, and grocery stores. The staff at this hotel was really friendly and helpful. They provided numerous suggestions of trails to hike within Banff National Park as well as places to eat. I ended up taking them up on many of the hiking recommendations, and they were amazing places to hike.

If I get the opportunity to return to Canmore, I will absolutely consider staying at this property again. I unfortunately did not get any photos of the hotel or my room on this visit, but you can see photographs and check rates and availability for this hotel here.
