Where to stay on your visit to Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park’s West Glacier Entrance is just 42 minutes from Kalispell. This makes Kalispell a good option for your stay since there are limited lodging options closer to the park entrance. When I visited last, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel has a nice indoor pool and hot tub as well as a fitness center and casino. It also has breakfast options available to help you fuel up for your hikes in Glacier National Park.

From this hotel, it also takes just 11 minutes to reach Flathead Lake if you are wanting to recreate in the clear waters of this lake. When I visited, I flew into Kalispell and stayed for a few nights here. Then I took a rental car to Banff National Park. Banff is just a 5.5-hour drive from Kalispell, so this area also makes a good launching point for a road trip into Canada to visit Banff National Park. When I returned from Banff, I stayed here one more night before flying from Kalispell back to Colorado.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell. Soaking in the hot tub after hiking in Glacier all day was a great way to unwind. The hotel is also across the street from a good pizza place and is a short trip to downtown Kalispell where there are nicer restaurants and some microbreweries.
