Staying at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch
Both times I have been to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, I stayed at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch. You should check out this spectacular property when planning your trip to these National Parks.
Where to stay on your trip to Grand Teton and/or Yellowstone National Park
For your visit to Grand Teton and/or Yellowstone, I would recommend staying at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch. This beautiful property is located along the Snake River and is in between both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. This central location allows you to easily access both National Parks. The property is located just two miles away from the south entrance to Yellowstone making it very easy to get into the park for your Yellowstone adventures.
When I visited, I stayed in the cabins and enjoyed the feeling of staying in a cozy cabin that still had amenities like showers and potable water. The lodge also has a convenience store for small items and restaurant featuring delicious fare. On my most recent visit, my dad and I had one of the elk medallion entrées, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely mouthwatering. We also brought other food for cooking and used a camp stove to prepare meals outside of the cabin to save some money.
I would definitely recommend checking out Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch if you plan to visit Glacier National Park or Yellowstone National Park. As with any lodging close to a National Park in the United States, these rooms go quickly, so be sure to book your stay well in advance. You can check out rates and availability for the cabins here.
